Abstract
Lifting machines are tools that can work periodically and are designed as self-lifting equipment, or as a separate mechanism for cranes or elevators. The construction of multi-storey houses is used as a reference where the placement of lifting equipment. The method used in this Lifting design is VDI 2221 and VDI 2225, a method always used by world engineers in designing a tool, then this design also using CAD method or drawing and calculation method of ETABS Program, is a structural analysis program developed by software company Computers and Structures, Incorporated (CSI) located in Barkeley, California, United States. The result obtained from this design is a lift plane with a rod strength capable of holding a weight of 250 kg, and a lift tool mechanism that uses a telescopic mechanism, as well as the strength and speed of the steel ropes used in this fuselage.
