Abstract
Air Conditioning System is a process of maintaining the condition of air from the desire temperature and humidity according to the standard of certain rooms. As the Server room is a room that use to store applications and databases, network equipment (router, hub, etc) and other devives that related to the daily operations. Currently the Air Conditioning System in the server room served by building with centralized air conditioning service. The server room should meet the security standard that protects the performance of the equipment from any potential sources that cannot allow it works optimally, such as from the temperature, humidity, fire, unauthorized persons, etc. As said before, the purpose of the research is to recalculate the cooling load required of the cooling machine to maintain the server room at the temperature at 21° C (68°F) with a maximum relative humidity of 60%. The research method was using study literature and observation. It observe various things such as measuring the room temperature, equipment, lighting and the activities of the operators It's also to calculate the cooling load required of the cooling machine and also the psychometric chart analysis. The results of the research shows that server room which air conditioning system provided by the building is not adequate to meet the standard, so that it needs additional cooling machine with Pecision type (PAC: Precision Air Conditiong).
